Moving On

Last night was the final performance of "Civil Conflict: A Comedy of Historic Proportions". Sitting at the computer today burning a delicious carrot cake Mia Bella Candle and reminiscing on the past several months. For those of you ever having worked in theatre whether professional, semi-professional or strictly amateur, you'll recognize the bond that is created in the weeks and months of rehearsals. A "family unit" is created as you interact with your fellow actors each rehearsal and performance and when it's finished, one almost feels a "loss" at not being able to be with the "family" every night!

But....all is not over yet! I've spent time this morning working on the cast party (menu, cast awards and the like) which is coming up in just 1 1/2 weeks! Of course I'm STILL unloading my car too and sorting through all the cafe items that have to be put away!

Also working on "Faith Without Sight", which will be the next production we begin working on. So, remembering the good times of this past show, but moving on to the next as well!
